DESCRIPTION
Located in Los Angeles Sur, a small village just 4 km up the road from the vibrant town of San Ramon, Angel Valley Farm B&B is about half way between the international airport near San Jose and the famous Arenal Volcano near La Fortuna. The B&B is right off of the most-traveled tourist road in Costa Rica, only 40 minutes from the airport and 500 meters off the road. But it is also away from it all too. Situated in the center of hundreds of acres of pristine farmland and beautiful rolling hills with a mix of forest, sugar cane and coffee, along with streams and waterfalls, our traditional Costa Rican farmhouse has six bedrooms, five bathrooms, a large dining room/living combination and many outdoor spaces for a variety for activities.
Completely remodeled in 2005 with brand new, custom-made furniture throughout, Angel Valley Farm B&B retains all of the original details of a traditional 1950s Costa Rican farmhouse with modern upgrades including hot water in all bathrooms and comfortably firm beds with top quality sheets and pillows. Coupled with temperatures averaging 71o F (22o C) throughout the year, the weather is perfect for exploring or relaxing. A sheet or perhaps a light blanket is all you need for a restful night’s sleep.

ingles, straight and gay, and many others just looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of their everyday lives.
We have a variety of animals with something for everyone including horses, dogs and chickens. A few cats often come around. Coyotes have been spotted and occasionally you can hear them howling in the valley in front of the B&B and behind it. There have been sightings of possums and armadillos and quite a few flycatchers, tanagers, oropendolas, chacalacas, parrots and fireflies at night. Bird watchers find many interesting varieties of birds, spending hours wandering our property for new and interesting birds. A howler monkey makes an appearance every so often and some guests claim to have seen a small black panther.
Go hiking on our numerous trails, visit many of the tourist attractions nearby, look at real estate in the area (Andrew has many ideas on this!), or simply relax on a hammock and take in the incredible valley outside our front door.
In the morning before heading off to explore this wonderful country, enjoy a
hearty breakfast combining traditional Costa Rican food with typical
American fare, complete with eggs produced on our farm as well as local
milk, breads, fresh fruit, vibrant Costa Rican coffee, and other amazing
items. Enjoy your meal in our dining area, outside by the hammocks, or
